U10, U12 & U14 Soccer Program (Fall/Winter)
Announcing Year-Round Soccer Programming at Winsloe Charlottetown Royals FC!
We are excited to announce that for the first time, Winsloe Charlottetown Royals FC will be offering year-round soccer programming! This includes both fall and winter sessions, as we participate in the PEI Soccer Association's Indoor League alongside other clubs.
Programming Details
Commitment Options:
If your commitment is 100% with the team, we recommend our Indoor League Package, which includes practices and games. However, we need player commitment for most of the games and practices. If you can only make practices as you are busy on the weekends, we can offer the Indoor Practice Package, which includes only 24 practices for $350.

We will also try to get more practices at some point after January on Thursdays (TBD).
Assessment Information:
Assessments will take place during the first outdoor practices. We will balance teams based on skills to support player development.

How to Register:
- Go to RAMP and select the Season: WCRFC Summer/Fall Camps.
- Choose the division: Fall/Winter U10, U12, U14.
- Select the package you’re interested in: Indoor League Package or Indoor Practice Package.
Registration Deadline: Friday, September 6th

Development Focus
Individual Skills: Throughout the entire program, we will emphasize the development of individual skills and technique. Sessions will be dedicated to passing, receiving, dribbling, shooting, and sportsmanship.
Team Tactics and Development: We will also focus on team tactics, positioning, and game strategy to improve team play. This approach ensures players understand positioning, communication, and teamwork, essential elements of soccer. Our philosophy includes teaching movement with and without the ball, passing, receiving, shooting, dribbling, and fostering sportsmanship. These core skills will be developed consistently over the next 6 months.
Importance of Year-Round Programming
Year-round soccer programming is crucial for the development of our players and the growth of our club. Playing and practicing throughout the year provides consistent skill development, keeps players engaged, and allows them to maintain and improve their fitness levels. It also fosters a strong sense of team cohesion and builds a solid foundation for future success on the field. This continuous engagement helps players to develop a deeper understanding of the game, enhances their tactical awareness, and improves their technical abilities. For our club, it represents a commitment to excellence and a dedication to providing the best opportunities for our players to grow and succeed.
